Pete’s Tuesday Night Ride (TNR) is back! Beginning April 2 (weather permitting), join us every Tuesday night for a bit of  sweat and camaraderie on the road. If you are reading this newsletter, you likely know the drill, but for our newcomers, let’s review:

Roll-out is at 6:00p, but we recommend showing up by 5:45p. The lot behind Zulu’s, between Broadway and N Pearl St., isn’t ticketed after 6p and street parking is also available. Riders are welcome to congregate behind the shop or stop in for a bottle refill, a bit of air, or ride nutrition. We will collect ride waiver signatures prior to each ride, but if we don’t ask you to do so, please come find Pete’s staffer!

We’ll split into A, B, and C groups before departing.

The C Group averages 14-16 mph over about 20 miles (with a shorter cutoff available), with stops to regroup at various points mid-ride. This is a strictly no-drop (no rider left behind) group. All bikes are welcome, including road bikes, fat bikes, hybrids, and e-bikes.

The B Group route is a bit longer: about 25 miles, and average anywhere from 16-20 mph. We’ll work to keep the group together on the way out to Bayshore, but the ride will typically split into smaller groups on the return along Nicolet. Open to all bikes, but in this group you’ll have an easier time on a road, touring, or gravel bike

The A Group covers about 35 miles, taking a longer route to Bayshore park and averages 20+ mph. This is a much more spirited group, and a great chance to test your fitness.
