With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.

Your Pre-Order is prioritized (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or dispatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!

Prelaunch

With Prelaunch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Preorders.

So, instead, you can submit your email address for the item you are interested in, and we will email you as soon as stock arrives in the system.

Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates

Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indicative purposes only and can change at any time without notice.

The dates we provide are based on information given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavor to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Returns and Shipping

SHIPPING (Continental U.S.)

  • Once placed, most online orders ship within one to two business day. Bike purchases that require shipment will take an additonal two to four days for processing and packaging. Orders placed after 12pm CST on Fridays through Sundays will process on the following Monday.
  • Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight.
  • We do not ship outside of the Continental U.S.

IN-STORE PICKUP

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to assemble. We will call, text or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders must be picked up within 30 days, after which time the items will be returned to the shop and in-store credit issued under the purchaser's name.

BACKORDERS

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.

RETURNS

We hope you love your purchase from Pete's Garage, but if you don't we'll make every effort to exchange or refund your purchase. Please see below for details of our return policy:

  • All bicycle sales are FINAL.
  • Full priced items are eligible for exchage or refund within 30 days of the purchase. Eligible items must remain in new, unused condition with all original packaging intact. Proof of purchase required.
  • Sale items are eligable for in-store credit or exchange only. Proof of purchase required.
  • Closeout items or clearance items (defined as any items marked below 50% of MSRP) are FINAL SALE.
  • Specail order items are subject to a 20% restocking fee upon return.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Payment in full is required before special orders will be placed. Returns on special order items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

Warranty claims will be addressed in a manner consistent with the manufacturer's guidelines and only on items purchased at Pete's Garage. In instances where the manufacturer does not cover labor, charges will apply to execute warranty repairs.

Wolf Tooth Elliptical Direct Mount Chainrings offer superior chain retention and efficiency for SRAM 8-Bolt cranks.

These Wolf Tooth elliptical direct mount rings are designed for SRAM cranks with 8-bolt mounting. The elliptical chainring shape provides better efficiency in the recovery zone, as well as increased traction thanks to consistent torque. This chainring is equipped with the patent pending Drop-Stop asymmetrical tooth design for the best in wear life, mud clearance, and chain retention.

Direct Mount Chainrings for SRAM 8-Bolt Mountain Cranks are optimized for SRAM Transmission mountain groupsets and T-Type chains. These are for users who have SRAM T-Type Transmission groupsets that want a different chainring size beyond the stock offering or wish to upgrade to a Made In USA option with an optimized tooth profile for better performance.

The 3mm offset is for SRAM MTB cranks with DUB WIDE spindles that are already at the 55mm chainline required for SRAM T-Type Transmission groupsets. Drop-Stop chainrings are designed for use with 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains. They are compatible with all 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains, with the exception of Shimano 12-speed chains. Shimano 12-speed chains require the use of Wolf Tooth's Shimano 12-speed specific chainrings.

Compatibility:

  • These direct mount chainrings will replace your existing chainring and spider or replace a direct mount chainring for SRAM T-Type Transmission AXS cranksets, SRAM Transmission 70 and 90 cranks, 2025 Cane Creek eeWings Titanium Cranks (8-bolt), and other cranks that use the 8-bolt standard.
  • SRAM T-Type Transmission DUB Wide MTB cranksets use the 8-bolt direct mount standard.
  • Compatible with SRAM AXS cranksets and other cranks that use the 8-bolt mounting.

  • Wolf Tooth’s patented Drop-Stop B wide/narrow tooth profile for the ultimate chain retention and mud-shedding ability.
  • Made from 7075-T6 aluminum for long life.
  • Includes set of eight custom T20 stainless steel bolts.
  • Recommended use of a clutch-style rear derailleur for the best chain security.
  • Use the included custom T20 bolts. Torque 4Nm with T20 tool.
