The dates we provide are based on information given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavor to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

Returns and Shipping

SHIPPING (Continental U.S.)

  • Once placed, most online orders ship within one to two business day. Bike purchases that require shipment will take an additonal two to four days for processing and packaging. Orders placed after 12pm CST on Fridays through Sundays will process on the following Monday.
  • Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight.
  • We do not ship outside of the Continental U.S.

IN-STORE PICKUP

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to assemble. We will call, text or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders must be picked up within 30 days, after which time the items will be returned to the shop and in-store credit issued under the purchaser's name.

BACKORDERS

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.

RETURNS

We hope you love your purchase from Pete's Garage, but if you don't we'll make every effort to exchange or refund your purchase. Please see below for details of our return policy:

  • All bicycle sales are FINAL.
  • Full priced items are eligible for exchage or refund within 30 days of the purchase. Eligible items must remain in new, unused condition with all original packaging intact. Proof of purchase required.
  • Sale items are eligable for in-store credit or exchange only. Proof of purchase required.
  • Closeout items or clearance items (defined as any items marked below 50% of MSRP) are FINAL SALE.
  • Specail order items are subject to a 20% restocking fee upon return.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

Warranty claims will be addressed in a manner consistent with the manufacturer's guidelines and only on items purchased at Pete's Garage. In instances where the manufacturer does not cover labor, charges will apply to execute warranty repairs.

Cervelo's Down Tube Port Blanking Plug fills the port on Caledonia-5 and Aspero-5 frames when using wireless drivetrains.

Cervelo designs the Caledonia-5 and Aspero-5 frames to accept mechanical, wired electronic, and wireless electronic drivetrains without modification. That flexibility means the down tube includes a port sized for a Shimano Di2 junction box, which sits empty when running SRAM eTap or another wireless system. The Down Tube Port Blanking Plug from Cervelo fills that opening with a clean composite cover that clips into place and keeps water, road grit, and debris out of the frame's interior. It is the same part that ships on wireless-equipped builds from the factory.

The port location on the down tube catches spray from the front wheel and runoff from the head tube junction, making it a direct path for contamination if left open. Road salt in winter, fine dust on gravel rides, and general moisture all find their way inside over time and can accumulate around the bottom bracket shell and internal cable routing channels. The blanking plug seals the opening flush with the frame surface, maintaining the aerodynamic profile Cervelo engineered into the tube shaping while protecting internal surfaces and any brake hoses routed through the frame cavity.

Installation requires no tools or hardware. The composite plug is shaped to match the port geometry on these specific frames and snaps into place with light pressure. A small lip on the interior edge holds it secure against vibration and incidental contact from water bottles or frame bags, but it can be popped out by hand if you ever swap to a wired electronic setup and need access for the junction box mount. If you have lost the original plug that came with your frame, cracked one during a pressure wash, or bought a used frame that was missing this piece, this is the direct OEM replacement that matches the frame's finish and fit exactly.
