The NAGO R4 PAS is an open, high-performance multidiskiplinary saddle designed to meet the demands of professional cyclists.
This saddle brings the latest in 3D printing technology to an already iconic performance saddle. The 3D printed lattice structure features varying zones, densities, thicknesses, and strut sizes that blend together for ultimate comfort and performance. Due to the intricacy of the layered hexagonal printing, the saddle is compliant, durable, and extremely lightweight.
This model is the PAS channel version of the NAGO R4, the evolution of the iconic NAGO saddle—a Prologo classic first introduced in 2008 and winner of a Giro d’Italia and several Monument Classics over the years. Refined through “MyOwn Pressure Map” testing, this saddle meets the needs of all riders seeking maximum performance and long-distance comfort.
The T-shape design ensures greater freedom of movement thanks to a wider seating area. Its rear-positioned anatomical center allows the cyclist to easily shift position and make full use of the saddle’s length. The semi-round ergonomic shape makes the NAGO R4 PAS ideal for riders with average pelvic rotation flexibility, while the narrow 137 mm width suits those with a moderate ischial bone spacing.
This open version of the NAGO R4 features two fully independent sections, made from latest-generation variable-density foams, to provide optimal support and comfort throughout every phase of the pedal stroke. The central PAS (Perineal Area System) channel is specifically designed to relieve pressure peaks and numbness, improving blood flow and overall comfort.
The lower outer edge of the saddle features drains that allow water to seep out and also aids in the cleaning of the seat.
The rail is available in Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber), made of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments, perfect for riders seeking maximum stiffness and lightness. It is also available in Tirox (light alloy steel), offering excellent vibration absorption and a great weight-to-strength ratio. The base is made from long carbon fiber for the Nack rail, or in injected carbon fiber for the Tirox rail. These materials offer a great balance between stiffness and comfort.
